For the first time ever, we are putting on an endurance event in Assetto Corsa with driver swaps. While support for driver swapping isn't great in AC, it is possible. And of course it means we can race at the Nordschleife, everyone's favorite endurance track. There will be no attached quali for this event, the grid will be set by Pre-Quali times, averaging the times for each driver on the team. You can either sign up as a team of two, or do it solo if 4 hours of driving doesn't scare you.
The classes available for this event are a wide selection of GT3 cars, or the Seat Cupra TCR, or the Caterham Academy. PQ requirements become less difficult / time consuming the slower the class. If you want to drive GT3, you need to put in 3 consecutive, clean laps of PQ. For TCR, it's just two consecutive laps. For the Caterhams, a single lap. The reason for this is simply to make sure that people driving the faster cars, who have to do more passing of lapped cars, have put in the ground work to be familiar with the track. The onus is on you to be safe.
PQ servers will be available 24*7 up till an hour before the event starts.
As this is our first AC enduro, there will be a "dress rehearsal" the weekend before the event, exact details TBD. It'll probably be on the Saturday, with a 45 minute race, just to make sure everyone knows how to do a driver swap, and that all our provisioning works OK. We will announce details closer to the time. Attendance will not be mandatory, but strongly encouraged.

Pre-Quali (PQ) is needed if the number of entries for an event may exceed the number a single server can accommodate, and/or if we have set specific PQ requirements for an event. In these cases, a period of PQ will be run prior to the race, usually for at least a week, and if necessary the race will be divided into equal size splits, based on PQ times. See the Driver Briefing tab for details of the PQ servers. In championship events, there is usually a points bonus for being in a higher (faster) split.

The time required is 107% of the fastest PQ time. The fastest PQ time for the Touring Car class is currently 08:39.399, meaning that the required minimum lap time is currently 09:15.757. Open Wheel The requirement for this event is a single hot lap. The time required is 107% of the fastest PQ time. The fastest PQ time for the Open Wheel class is currently 10:51.338, meaning that the required minimum lap time is currently 11:36.932. These times may change, so you should check back frequently to ensure that you do not need to improve your time. For drivers who have not met the hot stint requirements, the number in parentheses after the lap time is the longest valid hot stint for that driver, in which each lap met the required time. Note that regardless of what car you drive, you will need all of the cars installed, and you will need to install an additional layout pack for the Nords track.
All the GT3 cars in this event are standard Kunos content, from a variety of their DLC packs.
The Seat Cupra and Caterham Academy are mods, links are in the Content Downloads section.
We are using an extended grid slot layout for the Nords track. You need to have the normal Kunos Nordscheife track installed, then install the downloaded layout pack (link on the Content Downloads section) on top of it. Either unpack and drag and drop to your game's track folder location, or drop the download onto CM.
