During the assessment, the stewards have deemed that there was no clearing of overlap by either car - thus racing room was required to be given by both cars. Car 66 turns in and tries to take the normal line through the penultimate corner, while Car 242 is still beside them. As overlap was established a couple corners ago, and there was no breakage of this overlap, Car 242 was entitled to the inside line. Since Car 66 loses positions due to the resulting spin from the contact - no time penalty will be applied, but a driving standard warning to car 66 for causing an avoidable incident.
