Car 979 makes an error and crashes into the inside wall on corner entry. They bounce and cross the track and hit Car A that has another Car (B) on their left side. This domino effect sends all three cars off track. What stewards noted was Car 979 fails to hold their brakes at all through the whole incident. The first part, most stewards don't think it would have made a difference, but that is a minor warning. Where the stewards do feel there is a really strong issue is with the reentry of car 979 after the incident.

The crooked steering angle, and the lack of braking propels the car back onto track and potentially into another racer. This alone has been deemed worthy of a Qualifying ban for the next race. As there was not an accident, A DQ will not be applied. A Driver Standards warning will also be applied due to the dangerous nature of the rejoin.
