*** IMPORTANT MUST READ ***
This event has PQ (Pre-Quali) requirements that you must meet in order to be entered for the race. This means that you MUST take part in PQ, and you MUST record a "hot stint" of consecutive laps within a certain lap time. See the PQ tab on this page for full details.
Because of this requirement, considerate behavior on the PQ servers is absolutely essential. You will need to be mindful of other drivers, and manage your gaps carefully when starting a stint. Do not obstruct other drivers. If a faster driver needs to pass, you should cooperate in order to minimize the time loss for both of you.
We are running three PQ servers. We strongly suggest that if you are shooting for the slower requirement (currently 10 laps at 107%) that you use one of the servers marked "107%", and that the "104%" server is used by faster drivers on shorter stints. If you know you are slower than most, consider restricting yourself to server 3.
We have implemented these requirements for this race because Bathurst is a very difficult and dangerous track for endurance racing, and we need to know that everyone who takes to the grid has put in enough practice, knows the track well enough, and is consistent enough so as not to be a liability on track.Â
