Head Steward Decision

Car 776 overshoots their corner and tries to return to the racing line. Car 36 drives into the side of car 776. Immediately after this contact, car 36 decides they have places to go so they continue full throttle and shove car 776 out of the way.

Car 776 then drives ahead of the lapping cars for a little bit before "yielding" the position. They continue this pattern for a few more laps, where they don't easily yield the position to lapping cars behind.

The stewards have decided to assign multiple penalties to car 776 for blue flag infringements. Driving Standards Warning to 776 for those blue flags, with an additional Qban (w/out DQ) for repeating offence directly after this incident.

For Car 36, the stewards are assessing a 5 second penalty for not yielding to the car ahead after the initial contact.
