Car 128 keeps a nice defense in the center of the track, and car 382 dives to the outside and makes contact with Car 128. Since there was no sufficient overlap before the corner, Car 128 has all the right to the track ahead. Since the car behind has to yield to the car ahead, Car 382 is at fault.

The contact resulted in a loss of control of car 128, thus considered a moderate contact. Section 7.1 of the ACRL rules and regulations deems this as a 20s time penalty to car 382.
